Photopost 5.5 Anouncement Box modification

Hi guys, I am using Photopost 5.5, i haven't upgraded yet. I need to modify the code, so that the announcement box can contain more than 200 charcters.
Could you tell me what to modify ?

Thank You

You would actually have to modify the settings table field setting and make it a text field

Hello,

I dont fully understand.

We have our photopost linked to a vbulletin forum. And PP uses the skin from the board and its userbase are shared. In our portal software (vbadvance) we have the banner system (vbulletin hack) and we globalice the variable "GAB_ads" for the banners to work. I believe we need to do the same here, but I dont know how to "globalice" the variable.

Anyway, It would also work adding a HTML code with the banner code. Because we just need one banner there and we dont really need the vbulletin banners hack.

Thanks!!

well you cant use vb hacks on photopost we dont run their plugin system. We may load there header stylesheet etc but the applications are still separate applications.

Are you specifically asking me in a support forum how to hack your software?

You can at your own risk alter your settings table

ALTER TABLE pp_settings CHANGE setting setting TEXT;
