| Problem Uploading
I am tryin to upload an image logged in as the admin (same happens when I am logged in as a normal user, I have selected a catagory and also an album then select the photo. once I press upload I get the processing and the image was uploaded sucessfully but when I look in the gallery there is no sign of it. It seems to work fine on small images but not on larger ones (3mb)
Can anyone shed some light on this?
The problem can be seen at www.snapshack.co.uk
Thanks

Are you trying to upload an image over 2mb? Your servers PHP is limited to 2mb upload unless you alter the server's php to allow a higher image so if you try and upload a larger image your server drops the file and Photopost thinks its done.

If you have the necessary file server access you would edit the php.ini file on the server and change the max_upload_filesize variable and restart the server otherwise this is a change your host would need to make.

I am having the same problem.. it seems random (only a couple users and myself appear to be having this problem). My file is only 140kb.. but I go thru the upload process.. it says it's uploaded and refreshes.. and then I can't find my photo!?!

Do you have a link to your phpinfo on the server?
You can upload a phpinfo file to your gallery directory by downloading one from our product details page by hitting the requirements link. http://www.photopost.com/requirephp.html |

You should be able to upload files up to 2mb. You can try clearing all directories under the uploads directory in photopost and try uploading again.

That won't affect anything in the Gallery right? Is that like a cache folder or something?

Do I just delete all the folders or do I need to delete what's in the folders only?

Thanks! I will do this and see if it fixes the problem.. incidentally, I was able to upload to the Gallery yesterday so it seems to be a random occurrence.

Got you usually if an upload is dropped it would be over the max filesize allowed in PHP which is 2mb
