Changing Number of Rows Displayed in Gallery

I've been trying out this option, but it doesn't seem to be working for me. I access it via Admin->Show Gallery Options and try changing it to various numbers (2, 5, 6, 7). However, the gallery always ends up displaying three rows. The other options in the menu are having the intended side-effects (changing number of columns, emailing a friend, etc...). Is there some other setting I need to change to get the row display option to work?

Also, is there a setting I can change to adjust the clipping of picture titles on the showgallery.php page?

The setting you speak of only affects the number of rows on the showgallery script when viewing a category. If I set it to have 5 rows it has 5 rows of photos. If your trying to change the number of rows for featured photos etc thats under layout options.

I have tested both features and they appear to work for me. There is not setting to change the clipping of titles on that script you would need to edit the actual php file itself.

After looking at the source code, the "display number of rows" number isn't having any effect because a variable called "$ppperpage" is being set. If $ppperpage is set on line 288 in showgallery.php, it ignores the row setting. So where is "$ppperpage" being set? It seems to be some sort of cookie setting, but I'm not sure how to change it.

If your passing some ppperpage variable in the url this would happen sure

Try deleting your browser cookies and see what happens. Delete cookies relog in and view the gallery.
