Problematic Dropdown Box

Hello Everyone,

I have created lot of photo albums. I think they are around 900 including the ones submitted by members.

The problem is that when I go to the approve photos or bulk move, the page takes a lot of time to load. The reason I understand is that there are so many list of entries to load in each drop down box and I can see one thumbnail appearing and a wait of around 10-15 seconds before another thumbnail appears.

Also, when I visit the My Albums page, the page scrolling goes deep down in to the sea, I mean its a very long list of albums name with thumbnail.

I was wondering if there is any work around for this solution.

For the My Albums page, page navigation could be made with 10 to 20 albums per page.

For the drop down box, I am not sure what is the work around.

Chuck, can you put some light on this problem.

I have contacted Michael to reply here. As admin in admin you should see all cats in the dropdowns. I know we can tweak it to not show albums that might help but lets see if he has a better thought.

I don't have any solution for you - the dropdown list is needed to allow you to select which category you want to upload to.

As to the My Albums page, we can consider adding pages in an update in the future.

Not sure what to say because I would be adding lot of albums and the problem will increase as the numbers increase making the drop down box larger and larger.
