upgraded to vB 3.7.1 -- nothing from photopost on forumhome --

I was successfully using photopost on vB 3.6.0, and we updated to 3.7.1 and I can't see the photo bar up top, nor the old photopost sub-forum at the bottom --

-- is there an easy way to turn these on?

on forum home, i still have this --

$navbar
$photopostfeature
<div align="center">

thank you!

I would suggest you check and still see your forumhome template has the appropriate modification line to any style you are viewing and the plugin is still above in the plugins section of vb.

Both the index.php file and Forumhome have the correct modifications as needed, but it's still blank..

I've tested both the "old" way of doing it by editing the index.php file and the plugin, both with the same result (and the path is correct for the plugin)..
Everything worked fine before I upgraded to vbulletin 3.7.2 (from 3.6.8)

Can anyone confirm that this plugin is working with vBulletin 3.7.2?

Well what is your url?

Your sure the plugin is active and the forumhome for the specific style your using has the addition entered?

Url: remove for now

And yes, the plugin is active and I only have one style and it's been modified like it should be...

Do you know of any other 3.7.2 boards that it's working for??
Could it be the Hook Location for the plugin that needs to be changed for vbulletin 3.7.2??

I will have to ask Michael on that. You can also ask vb what the proper plugin location would be for the forumhome index like that but I would beleive it to be forumhome_complete. They could have a bug in their code if you cant get plugins to show on the index.

I know, that's why I asked it as a general question just in case any of the other members in here can or can't confirm that it's working with 3.7.2..

im about to upgrade to 3.7.2 and i came across this thread. i notice the otherday that somebody released a plugin to display vbulletins new albums on the forumhome in the same way that photopost does it. the hook that that plugin uses is forumhome_start. i havent tried to get photopost to work on my test forum of 3.7.2 but if anybody wants to try it, try and change the hook from forumhome_complete to forumhome_start and see if that doest fix the problem with it not displaying.

No, but there is that line that needs added to FORUMHOME. I guess the word conjunction was to mean this plugin will not work unless you read that other thread (http://www.photopost.com/forum/photo...tin-3-5-a.html) all the way thru (492 posts) to find that part. Confusing at best...

Thanks.
Sure I can confirm it works on 3.7.2 if and once you figure out on your own how to make it work.

No changes switching this that I noticed. What you may come up against once you do get it working is the hard coding needed to make it actually worth using.

So when Chuck says no edits to index.php, he's correct, but you WILL have to edit a file to change the hard coded style they've forced on you to use.

I still can't figure out why this isn't working..

The path in the plugin is correct, I've added $photopostfeature to my Forumhome template and the inc_features.php file works fine on it's own then I test it with "echo $photopostfeature;" at the bottom of it.
But still nothing shows up on the forumhome page, and I've also tried several different plugin hook locations...

Interesting it is forumhome_complete and $photopostfeature simple additions one a plugin and one a template edit

how about entering in your forumhome template below the photopost addition simple HELLO and see if it displays.

Suddenly it's working again now..
I'm not sure what the error was since I've re-uploaded several files and made some changes to several templates (including Forumhome), but it's possible that it was a typo somewhere in the Forumhome template that caused it..
