What is this and what does it do...

In the admin panel under "Show Photo Options"

Display Featured Photos on this page?

I set it to yes and it made no difference. Can someone explain this please?

That switch determines if you get the latest most popular or random block photos displayed on the showphoto and showgallery pages. You saying you dont see a block if set to yes?

Now I see what it does. I just couldn't understand it. I thought it wasa block that said featured photos and you could select a photo to be displayed as a featured photo like what this site has on its portal page Digital Photography Forum : photozo :: Portal

Any chance that you know how they did that?

Thanks for the reply

Ah okay it looked like a vbportal site anyway you would need to modify that script then in some way to work with phpbb2 or 3

There are a few random photo blocks in the mod forum you could use as well. I dont use phpbb2 or 3 personally so I could not tell you how to modify their scripts.
