Header, Upload Path, Upload from URL, etc

It's a few functions with Photopost I never got to work or maybe confused about how it works.

One is the header. The option to have a header. Is this header supposed to show above the gallery? For instance I have multi photographers that have their own company logo/headers. What I wish to do is create a category for their own company and show their particular header over their photos and have their own watermark for their logo. Is this option allowed using the header option? Or am I thinking about this wrong?

Also, the upload path when uploading photos in bulk. Does it have to be in the uploads/1 directory? Can i pull from other paths within my server?

And last, the uploading from URL. How does this function work? If I have photos in a directory on my server already (www.mysite.com/photos/images/*.*)
does Photopost supposed to pull every .jpg thats located there? I've tried this several times with it not doing so. Am I confused on how this supposed to work?

Hello

You would need to collect and upload additional watermarks and headers for these categories. The main header in global options is shown over the gallery everywhere. However when you create a category for say the person you talk about you can specify an alternate header and watermark via server path to those files in Admin => Edit Categories for each cat.

The upload from url is where you would place a url to a page and we will attempt to extract images from that page in img html tags

The users upload directory is their own specific uploads directory and changes with user. Now you can upload from any folder on the server using bulkupload and changing the path as admin

Let me know if you need anything else.

the edit cat that you speak of, do you mean the "Header Include File Path" option? If so can you give me an example syntax on how this should look and work. Is it an online doc something that explain each option that I can perhaps look at without buggin u guys all the time?

/var/www/html/gallery/header2.htm

That is an example of a server path. you simply need to fill in paths to additional watermarks headers you have created per category to load headers or watermarks to override the globa ones

There is no manual for these types of things just basic operational things.

Ok, so when i enter this path. should this override the vbulletin header? Or should this appear somewhere lower? Or this only if we install PP as a standalone?

Cuz I still can't get it to work. PP is picking up the correct path, and it also lets me edit it when I choose "edit header" under administration in the admin panel.
But it never shows up. Right now, in my html file I just have the img tag showing a banner. Should I include more html?

This discussion is only for a photopost not integrated with vbulletin since when integrating with vbulletin we use their header system.

Do you or anyone else reading this thread know of a hack that will allow me to change headers for each photo category even when its integrated with PP?

You mean vbulletin? No I do not. I know of this to do a separate header for Photopost

http://www.photopost.com/forum/1163510-post4.html

You could effectively try something like that in header-inc.php but like this

Code:
Content visible to verified customers only.
