bulk upload deosnt refresh - only uploads one page at a time

I know I have fixed this before but cant remember how

If I ftp up 400 images and set the upload to upload direct from the upload folder, it will process whatever I have the settings set at

25 or 50 or 100 then just stop - it doesnt refresh and go back and get the next 100 images

Most of the time the browser shows the processed files in the gallery -
Sometimes the script just hangs at "processing image XXX"

I can hit the back button on the browser and it will kick off again with the same settings ( upload folder name and "upload as " )

But it would be easier if I could just upload 400 images and tell it to GO and come back in 10 minutes to see them done

Does this assist you?

Tried that

in fact already had
ini_set("memory_limit", "60M");

in there added the second line

Just uploaded 40 images - it did 10 quick and easy and stopped

It just doesnt go back and get more

You can also in your uploadphoto template do this

Code:

Content visible to verified customers only.
Move selected="selected under a higher default number to process and see if that helps

Being able to change the defaults is cool ... But I think its related to a function on the server

something in the php.ini

My memory is not great - But i could have sworn it was related to

disable functions ?

Quote:

disable_functions = show_source, system, shell_exec, passthru, phpinfo, exec, popen, proc_open, allow_url_fopen

One of my posts appears to have been applied to your post instead of another.

Most likely it is related to your disabled php functions. Are you using imagemagick or GD2. You can try GD2 instead of imagemagick to see if this helps.

I just finished uploading 5k images

Ill try editing the php.ini next time to remove the disabled functions

thanks for your help
