| Unregistered users can't view gallery
We would like to have our unregistered (or registered, but not logged in) users be able to see photos in the gallery. We've set the following:
Registration Options:
Require users to be registerd to view images? marked NO
Edit Categories:
These checked usergroups can view images in this category
the only ones NOT checked are banned and banned users
The forum is at Main Index - 3 Pixel Chicks Gallery
username: test
password: test
Thanks for any advice!

Did you edit the user groups?

Check your category permissions by clicking on EDIT for a category (in Edit Categories) and ensuring that the usergroups have checks for the right permissions you want to enable (viewing, uploading, comments, etc).
You can set permissions at a high level patent and click "apply to children" to have those permissions fall down to the children, too.

Is there something that allows unregistered users to view photos in the Edit Usergroups admin? I didn't see that option, but maybe I'm overlooking something.

Go to your Categories and edit a category. At the bottom make sure the unreg group is checked for viewing. Thats all I can think of. Make sure all the cats permissions are correct. When I look at your gallery I dont even see a single cat.

The categories are indeed there, but only show up if you're logged in, despite the fact that we've checked the unregistered group for viewing, as mentioned above. The categories and photos only show up once you've logged in. Is there some other place to change this?

I sent a message through the contact us link - is that the right thing to do? Thanks!

I hate to be a pest, but if anyone has other ideas, we'd really appreciate it! It took over 24 hours to get a response from the contact us link (offering the same advice that we've already been through twice on this thread), and we've been working on this issue for over a week now. We'd like to get the website up and running, but this has been a real stumbling block. Thanks for any and all help!
