Red face 6.1 animations (gifs)

Hi..

A user asked me about this, I'm using IM as a proc and it works for thumbs (i.e gif animations) but not the full image, i thought about an swf file but it wouldn't take it... added the extensions in the admin but file size was too large apparently and it was under 100k... anyways, is there a way to show animations? i think it's the watermark isn't it... shows the thumb, but then if it gets watermarked it cannot WM each frame... hmmmm

I dont beleive animated images can be resized. To work properly they must remain untouched at least thats what I remember.

As far as swf thats a multimedia file and you would enable multimedia uploads and add that extention to multimedia allowed types and it should be uploaded.

What i did... using IM which is my default, i created a new cat and disabled watermarking (per usergroup) and the user reports back as saying it worked! - I'll experiment more as he uploads more, I'm sure once it gets a resize it's game over for the animation...
