Old Versions?

I used to use photopost for my photo gallery on mobilitysite.com. I merged forums with another of my sites and decided to leave it behind. Well, now I am back to wanting to use it. The data in my database is still there as well as 1000 photos. I really don't want to lose this data.

So, I renewed my subscription and downloaded the latest and greatest. I overwrote the old files and then I tried running update. It worked for some steps and not others. When it was all done, my data was mangled and photos were gone (still physically on server though).

So I restored my old data by dropping all the tables and re importing the data before I upgraded. There is one problem though, I would like to revert back to the old version (2006 time frame), but I don't know the version number nor do I know where I can download archived versions.

Any suggestions?

If your database is not corrupt downloading the current code and only running the required upgrades from your version to the latest ONCE will not make photos dissappear or anything. You can check your version number in your old settings table or adm-misc.php file. If your data directory of the old version has thumbs medium and mini directories under your numeric categories it would be safe to select 5.0-6.1 upgrades only, You just dont want to run th 485 upgrade if you dont need to or twice as that would make files go by by.

Thanks. I tried over and YEAH... it worked. I think I started too early in the releases. Thanks again.
