Fatal error when I try to upload an image

I can't upload a picture, here what I have:

Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 62914560 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 7716 bytes) in /home/etampe/domains/lesetampeuses.com/public_html/gallery/image-inc.php on line 139

Thanks

This would normally help but seems to me your memory in php is set to 60mb already you can verify this in admin phpinfo tell me how much memory your php has in memory_limit

Now you can also ftp to your gallery directory and under the UPLOADS directory delete all directories to unclog your unprocessed files then try to upload again.

OK. I've found my memory limit: 60M.

So now, what can I do?

Do you know what an ftp client is? How do you upload files to your website when you do work on it?

Essentially you ftp to your site and go to your gallery directory click the uploads folder to list all the numeric folders underneath uploads and select them and then right click and select delete.

i deleted all the number folder, and I still have this problem. I upload a picture and I still have the same error. I got back to FrontPage and I have a new folder number 4... I deleted it, and it didn't work and created again a folder number 4...

Question is what size image are you trying to upload. You might want to restrict filesizes in admin edit usergroups

Obviously here if your using GD2 as your processor whatever size image your uploading is causing your server's PHP to go down

I can tell you how to raise php memory but you already have it set to 60M though which is pretty high
