Members gallery thumbnail
 

How do I set the member gallery thumbnail? I want a specific image to be my personal gallery thumbnail within the members gallery.

The members gallery thumbnail is always the last photo uploaded thats just how its done so you really cant set that as a constant photo.

Can I create a category called Members and set sub albums within that for different year, models or cars and then the members name as a subalbum of that? And then allow only that member to be able to post to that specific subalbum with their name?

You can do that but essentially you would need to create a new usergroup for each user.

Now instead you can create new categories as you wish them to be called and when creating the cat you select your category type as members gallery and it will let that categories photos be sorted by users. Thats easier and does not require you to get all funky creating tons of special usergroups.
