how to remove the [no messages] from PP navbar

I have turned off the messages part in ADMIN but the PP nav bar still shows [no messages ]

Quote:
My Photos · My Albums · My Favorites · [no messages]
Why is it bracketed and how do I get rid of it since I turned that off ?

If I look in our code if you turn messages off it does not show in the navbar anymore.

http://www.reeftalk.com/gallery/index.php

I turned off the messaging system and see no link.

I uploaded all the new files to the server.

I compared pp-inc.php which contains the menu code and its the new version.

this code is there - its being ignored

Code:
Content visible to verified customers only.

The only things that have been changed on the gallery is graphics related.

The menu is also showing the first 2 links underlined and the next 3 not underlined

Your posting code for the message board.

In Admin => Global Options

At the very bottom turn off use of messaging.

Not a problem yeah the board and private messaging system are two different things. The overwhelming options in the product have me twisted at times. Have a good weekend buddy!
