Delete all comments by specific user?

I've got a spammer on my gallery, how do I delete all of his comments?

He hasn't posted any photos, just comments with hotlinks to spam sites. My forum is integrated with Vbulletin, but of course VB disavows any knowledge of comments posted in Photopost.

View a users profile in photopost like so and hit statistics you will come up with a url like so

http://www.yourdomain.com/gallery/me...2981&protype=3

As admin you will see the delete all photos by user and there will be a checkbox to also delete comments this should work for you.

I have this same problem Chuck, but when I click the profile tab I get brought to the spammers profile on the main forum (WOWBB) and that doesn't show his comments, ie there is no stats tab on the WOW profile for me to click so I can't locate his comments.

There is only a link for admin to delete all a users photos and in that action you can check to delete all his comments on his profile in Photopost not wowbb

You would have to delete his comments one by one if your not looking at clearing all his entries.

Thanks Chuck. The problem is that this guy hasn't posted any photos, only comments and so he doesn't show up in the list of members Galleries or Personal albums. The only way I can find his other comments is if someone complains and sends me the link or if I wade through every single photo to read all the comments.

You can view the comment and click his username to get to his photopost profile and under statistics is the link to delete all his photos and you hit that and it takes you to an admin page and you click the box to also delete all his comments and you hit submit.

Unfortunately the usernames are not clickable on my gallery Chuck. They are displayed in black and not linked to a profile. I'll post a screengrab later.

Your free to find out his userid and replace the url with his like so

http://www.yoursite.com/photopost/ad...uid=USERIDHERE

Thanks Chuck, I figured out how to do it by the forums CPanel. I browsed to the Photopost DB in phpmyadmin and clicked pp_comments and then searched the spammers ID. All his comments came up and I just had to tick and delete them. It was an easy way to do it. Thanks for taking the time to help once again Chuck.
