Help with PhotoPost and Classifiedes Upgrade...

We just upgraded to vBulletin v3.7.0 and also vBadvanced 3.0.1, to bring our site right up to date with everything.

The problem is, our links in our NavBar have now removed the links to PhotoPost and Classifiedes.

Therefore, I have a couple of questions:

1. Is anyone able to talk a 'novice' through on how to put these links back in?

2. How do we find out what version of PhotoPost and Classifiedes we're running, so I can upgrade these if necessary?

Best regards

Graham

1. You would edit your vbulletin navbar template and add a link such as this but this all depends on your style etc

Code:
Content visible to verified customers only.
2. If you go to the admin of classifieds under statistics it should list your current version.

Hi Chuck

Hi Chuck, thanks for this, sorry to bother you, but a couple more questions.

Am I right in thinking...

1. Latest version of Photopost is 6.2?
2. Latest version of Classifieds is 2.6.1?
3. What's the latest version of ReviewPost?

Finally, we purchased and had installed ReviewPost quite a while ago, and we haven't used it as yet (sorry!), but we're now in a position to get people to use it. However, when we try to navigate there

www.vincentownersclub.co.uk/reviews/index.php

we just get a blank screen.

We recently changed the location of our files on our server with WestHost, so instead of them being in the main html folder, they're now in a separate domain folder - should we have changed anything when we did this?

Photopost is 6.02

Classifieds is 3.01

Reviewpost is 3.33

You need to rerun install to update your paths and urls to the correct ones if you moved things.

Thanks for the info Chuck

Nearly there, I think

PhotoPost 6.0.2 - upgraded OK.

But we have a problem (the same one) with both Classifieds and Reviewpost.

If you checkout...

http://www.vincentownersclub.co.uk/photos/index.php
This appears fine.

However, if you visit
http://www.vincentownersclub.co.uk/reviews/index.php
or
http://www.vincentownersclub.co.uk/c...ieds/index.php

It doesn't follow the usual style - ie the background's missing.

Any thoughts?

PS - Damn - I've just noticed something else. The latest ads and latest photos modules that appear on our home page via vBadvanced no longer work either.

You need to actually turn on the edit integration settings in admin after filling out the urls and paths

Doh! What an idiot! Sorry for wasting your time!

We now have EVERYTHING working as it should EXCEPT the latest ads and latest photos modules that appear on our home page via vBadvanced no longer work

Could anyone point me in the right direction of instructions of how to install PhotoPost, PhotoPost Reviews and PhotoPost Classifieds via vBadvanced. I've searched this forum and vBadbanced, but can't find anything that's suitable (I don't think).

We've never done this as this integration was carried out for us when our PhotoPost products were initially installed.

Basically, the modules we've got installed show themselves on our homepage, but they're empty, and they used to contain random images/adverts. This has only happened since we upgraded all of our software.

vbadvanced blocks would actually be posted outside support in the mod corner

http://www.photopost.com/forum/showt...advanced+photo

That might be what your looking for.

If this is you vbadvanced page it doesnt have any blocks installed you might try going into vbadvanced page manager and make sure your photo blocks etc are turned on to show on the index.
