image distortion

If you check out this page: http://www.pearl-guide.com/photopost...o/17/ppuser/42

you can see the image is distorted, faded, weird color things happening - if you click on it you'll see the real image.

This only happens with images over my set size dimensions, I am using GD1 for image intergration, the problem persists with GD2.

If I use imagemagik I get this error:

Error creating thumbnail! Error code: 127

Command:
" /usr/bin/mogrify" +profile "*" -size 100x36 -quality 70 -geometry 100x36 '/home/pearlgui/public_html/photopost/data/500/thumbs/3pearls1.jpg'

Any help guys?

View your phpinfo and see what image processor your server actually has. If you have gd2 you must set it to gd2. Imagemagick on the other hand you must ask your host if you have this installed or ssh to your server and type whereis mogrify to see the path and set it correct in our config settings. 127 means it is not found where your telling us its located.

I usually see image distortion like that when you try using gd1 when you actually have gd2 on the server.

How would I check this Chuck?

My users images are coming up kind of...negative on the thumbnail version but are fine when you click on them. I just changed to a dedicated server and they switched me from Imagemagik to GD but I'm not sure if its 1 or 2.

Switching the settings in the photopost admin made it work again but now I have this distortion problem.

Thank you.

This is an example

well you can see which version of GD you have in phpinfo in admin and then in global options select the right one. If you still have distortion most likely an issue with the processor they will need to resolve.
