Pictures and thumbnails not showing after move

Recently I changed hosing companies because the old one went bad. After the move I was getting server errors that turned out to be caused by wrong permissions on some Photopost files. I also followed Chuck's advice and ran install again ensuring the paths were all correct. It fixed all the problems - Thanks Chuck.

Unfortunately when I asked the host company to re-copy one table in the forums database they copied the entire database so everything is messed up again only this time none of the images or thumbnails are showing.

I checked the data folders and everything looks OK as far as I can tell.

I did try rebuilding thumbnails but nothing changed as far as I can tell I then ran install again but nothing changed. I am worried that if I scan the database to rebuild images I might wipe them out.

I still have the original database on the old server but every time it is copied I end up with more problems so I don't what to do that if it can be avoided.

Chuck, Please advise or suggest what I should do. I don't want to risk doing more without your advice.

P.S. The index is showing the number of photos in each category but when I click on a category it says there are no images. When I click on Member Galleries is says No users found.

This thread should assist you. Like I said running install should correct all the paths again or if you can get into admin follow the thread above.

Thanks Chuck,

I went through everything again and found all the data folders had permissions set to 644. But putting that right didn't fix it so I copied the PP tables from the old database to the new database one table at a time and all the pictures and thumbnails came back.

I just have a few minor things left to fix.
