Your install looks fine for the files I see. If you did not grab or backup your data directory you can not rebuild those files as they no longer exist. You can run scan database in admin to rebuild thumbnails and it will delete photos it does not find but that maybe all your old files if you dont have the data folder.

Also you want to make sure in your data folder you have a numeric folder for every category you have with a thumbs medium and mini folder and all are set to 777 or you will need to delete your categories and recreate them or manually create these folders via ftp.

Well I am learning a lot now, huh? anyways....no I do not have backup of the data directory beyond what I thought was the correct one.....but you can bet I will from now on.

In my main data folder I do not have any other folders but these:

1
2
500
720
avatars
medium
mini
thumbs

So for every category I would need to create a new folder with the correct numeric folder number and inside that folder I would need a medium and mini folder also?

What I am seeing is that if something was uploaded to say just their member's gallery then the image may be there, but if it had any category/album whatsoever then it is gone.

Also if I run the build thumbnails and it deletes all the the ones that don't match up then I would just have empty categories right? Then I could just delete those and then create new ones?

I am just trying to figure out the best way to go about this. Guess I should go make supper and think on this for a bit...need to feed the children....somehow they think they are starving

Most likely

Yes you would need to hand create all the data directories if you do not wish to delete the cats and recreate them as the script would create the directories.

Yes you can run scan database delete old categories if you wish and then recreate them I think thats easiest actually

Trying to rebuild my thumbnails and it keeps timing out. Is there something I can do to stop that?

Next question. I am staying logged in on the message board but if I close out my browser I am logged out of the gallery (but still logged in at the message boards) Before I stayed logged in for both or logging in at one would log me in at the other.

Also one more question. Do you happen to know the path I need for the header to show from our phpBB3 message board?

we dont auto load phpbb headers never did so you would have to make up some html header and link to it in global options in admin

as far as cookies both your cookie path and cookie domain need to be this in both forum and photopost to be sitewide.

cookie path /

cookie domain .ascrappinfriendsy.com

as far as timeouts try this at the top of pp-inc.php under the error_reporting line

Code:
Content visible to verified customers only.

Ok...will have to work and read up some more on the header thing.

I was missing the domain on the cookies - fixed that.

The timeouts...tried that and all I got was a blank page for admin when I click on it.

thanks!

In the photopost/pp-inc.php file

Like this:

error_reporting (E_ALL ^ E_NOTICE);
(this is the line that was there.
ini_set("memory_limit", "48M");
ini_set("max_execution_time", 0);

if ( VB3_INTEGRATION == "off" ) (this is the line that was under it)

yeah looks right you know on the scan database page if your server can not handle rebuilding all you can scan and rebuild by category
