Help! We're sorry, but the system experienced an unrecoverable error. Please try agai

I'm getting this error:

We're sorry, but the system experienced an unrecoverable error. Please try again later.

Script: adm-misc

Query: SELECT COUNT(*), SUM(views) AS fsize FROM photos

Result: Table 'photos' is marked as crashed and should be repaired

Database handle: Resource id #6

How do I repair the photos table? Note - the resource ID has varied between #6 and #7 if that makes a difference.

Ignore this. I think I posted in the wrong forum. I'll post in the discussion forum.

Your photos table is crashed and you need to repair it. Using your webhost control panel database viewer which is normally phpmyadmin run this command.

REPAIR TABLE photos;

I am experiencing this exact problem.

My photopost is in my forums database along with my classifieds. The photopost prefix is "pp_".

I backed up my database and tried running several queries similar to the one suggested and eventually managed to get it to run with REPAIR TABLE forums;".

Unfortunately it gave me an error too.

Error

SQL query:

REPAIR TABLE

MySQL said: Documentation
#1064 - You have an error in your SQL syntax; check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near '' at line 1

Thanks
