Upload 2MB photo issue

For some reason when members upload 2MB photo in the galery this is the error I got:

Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 33554432 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 11264 bytes) in /home/mysite/public_html/gallery/image-inc.php on line 103

Is there a way to increase this? I try look under photopost admin option but all I see under upload photo optoin is

Maximum multimedia upload size in Kb that is 16000. How about maximum photo size in KB? I cannot find that option. Is there a way to increase the size for upload? After the users upload the photo don't photopost abe to compress automaticlaly?

If you wish to upload files over 2mb you must set your php on the server to accept this as most php installs are limited to 2mb. If you do not have access to alter php and edit your php.ini file you may need to ask your host. You can raise php memory by doing this
