how do i add random gallery strip to top of forums?

how do i add a random gallery strip to the top of certain forums that relate to each other?

meaning, if i have a sub forum of "plants" and want to add a random gallery strip from the "plants" gallery, across the top of the forum, how do i do this?

chuck did this for us once in the main forum area, but now we want to do the same in sub forums with galleries that match the theme of the forums...

isn't it possible for you to just tell me what code you used and where?
