Is there a way to merge to seperate galleries?

2 Installations of the photopost gallery. Completely seperate servers. I have one and a friend has the other. He is a also member of my forum using the same username on both forums.

Is there a way that I could import/merge his galleries into my gallery?

Is there a way to identify what directory number 501, 502 etc that belongs to that user?

Sorry I am not aware of any import script available to combine two galleries so given that there is no way to do this and as you know all your id's and cats would be the same making it impossible without writing some special script.
