pp_inc Error

I am getting the following error when trying to visit the photopost gallery:

Warning: main(/home/sites/yoursite/photopost/languages/english.php) [function.main]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/justih2/public_html/photopost/pp-inc.php on line 131

Warning: main(/home/sites/yoursite/photopost/languages/english.php) [function.main]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/justih2/public_html/photopost/pp-inc.php on line 131

Fatal error: main() [function.require]: Failed opening required '/home/sites/yoursite/photopost/languages/english.php' (include_path='.:/usr/lib/php:/usr/local/lib/php') in /home/justih2/public_html/photopost/pp-inc.php on line 131

Any help as to a solution?

Thanks!

Alright - I think I know what went wrong. When I ran the install script a couple of years back that modified the code on my server.

Last week I went in and modified the code on my local and then when I uploaded it, it was missing all of the code that was changed with the install.

So now I need to go in and manually modify the code to get the connections correct again.

Is there a list of the files and variables that need to be set for people that do the install manually and dont run the install script?

I went in and tried to change some of it myself. Just followed the errors and the variables and tried to get them corrected. I was able to shake the first errors, but I am now getting:

Warning: mysql_connect() [function.mysql-connect]: Access denied for user 'justih2_justih'@'localhost' (using password: YES) in /home/justih2/public_html/photopost/pp-inc.php on line 151
I cannot connect to the ReviewPost database. [$php_errormsg]

I have posted here, and I have put an email into the company - all with no response. What does a customer have to do to get a little support around here? Am I posting in the wrong forum or something?!?

You need to properly run an install. Your first error suggests install has never been ran as its looking for the default server path in a config file before install is ran as when you run an install the correct paths are updated and your last post about mysql errors suggests your mysql info is incorrect. The correct course of action here would be to run the install and run through so all your correct settings are updated and things are set correctly.

I was able to get to the member area and found that if I wanted to do an install that I would have to pay $40 bucks to renew my membership and that I would have to upgrade to the new version (I am not interested in upgrading) So instead I just kept looking at the code and following the errors till I got it all hammered out and now it is up and running again.

So I am glad - my mistake just took up some of my time and didnt cost the club any money so that is good.

Even got the cmps module working so all is well!

Thats good yeah running an install script if you had it would have saved you some time but yeah its all about updating everything to the proper things.
