How to Install PP Pro, Remove VBgallery

First off I love your product. We have been using vdgallery 2.1 and last night I purchased and upgraded to 2.4. No problems and all is running smooth.

I am intereted in installing photopost pro and removing vbgallery since my forum is relatively new and small right now. I like the album feature in PP Pro that many of my members want.

I have looked through the documentation and I know it is in there but cannot seem to find it. How do I install photopost pro since I have vbgallery installed? Can I install PP Pro then uninstall vbgallery once everything is right is PP Pro? Will current pictures migrate?

Thanks for great software!

Rick

Nothing will migrate without you running the import script located in our photopost pro import forum for this task

Now you want to install Photopost Pro then import your vbgallery content check that everything works and then you can use the vbgallery install script and select the uninstall option.

planning to do the changeover soon.

so i would like to know if vbgallery is already installed. Do i need to create a new directory for PPost pro? like those steps in the user manual?

If its yes, to the 1st question, what are the fields in the config.php must i fill to ensure that pp pro will be using the same db?

thanks and my apologies for asking so many questions. pardon me.

*dazed*

Regards
Mark

Yes you create a new directory and install per the install instructions. Basically when you run install the first thing that comes up is the config options. You would place the proper database information in both places where asked so if your just using your vb database input that correct info in both places for the photopost and user database portions.
