| Image pending approval
I've just switched my forum to moderate new photos.
Now when a photo is waiting for approval, I get a thumbnail saying "Image Pending Approval"
That's fine for the mods, but it's showing up for regular members and also for folks who aren't logged in. So at least one of my categories and the member's gallery both have that "pending" thumbnail rather than an image.
I would really prefer that the unapproved images simply remain hidden until they're approved.
How do I hide the photos pending approval from everyone but staff?

Are you sure your not logged in as a mod or admin? Non approved photos are not shown to users. In fact the only person who would see that is the user who uploaded the photo.

The photo is not visible, but the "Image Pending Approval" placeholder is, I don't want that shown either.
Logged out... Also tested in Firefox, I've never logged in using FF

well I would suggest in image-inc.php this line Code: Content visible to verified customers only.
change this to Code: Content visible to verified customers only.

Chuck,
I tried that it and it did not help. I suppose I could have made an error when I edited it, but in any case, the "Pending" thumbnail is still showing on the index page.

Yes it will help my friend
Go ahead upload a photo that is approved in the cat in question and then upload a photo that is moderated and you will see this helps.
That change is not going to affect whats there right now but it would prevent this from happening in the future

That's the part I didn't understand. I did what you suggested and of course it worked fine. Thank you!
