Directories/Photos on non-PP Page

I was wondering if I could have a user's albums or photos on a non-photopost/vb page. I wanted to connect PP with another script with a profile page but I don't see an easy way to do this. Even in PP I find it very difficult to simple click on a user, see their albums and go through their photos in a clean, coherent fashion.

For the most part, I'm trying to do a community site so people will put up pictures of events, e.g. a musician who does concerts. In his profile you should be able to browse picture albums that have a collection of pictures, e.g. Boston - Tammany Hall, New York - Bammany Hall, etc. and you can see all the pictures from each concert in the album. Right now it's just a huge spew of photos. I think I've seen this done on wakeboarders or something like that and hope there is an easy way to do this.

But the real issue is how to tie up all of these items in one neat "profile" page that can show you some teasers and then a link to "view all albums" which might just take you to the PP member page.

There are modifications posted in the mod corner here so you need to see if anything suits your needs.

Chuck - thanks for the laser quick reply. I'm still trying to understand the inherent differences between PP and VBG because both seem to be able to use a vBulletin style and look the same as the forums. But in trying what I want to do above, might I have an easier time with either of these two? I just want to wrap the gallery in the same forums template look with minimal fuss. I'm trying to poinpoint exactly what it means that VBG is better "integrated" with VB that it makes a huge difference. If that means you can login to one cpanel e.g. VB, to do you administrating then I really don't care. Perhaps there are a lot more of these mods for PP than VBG? Trying to figure out which without having to install and work with both....

yeah essentially photopost has more features but vbgallery is in the admin control panel whereas photopost has its own. So its up to you as far as mods you can use the link I provided to see different mods. Its easy to show a photo block on a vb page from photopost using the sticky mod on the page I linked.

Thanks for the link and it looks good. One thing that isn't clear is which file is the latest downloadable file. I can only guess that it is the first post which you edit and update regularly with fixes although there is no indication of that on the first post. It might help to notate it (e.g. last edited) so that it's clear.

Those links are mods which users post. What you use would depend on what your trying to do and where. If your trying to show photos on the forumhome you use that one or if you want to show photos on the users profile you use that one. There are all sorts of mods there.
