I addded another category and keep getting this error.

I've tried to figure it out and make corrections any suggestions on how to fix

How about in edit categories in admin you check that category to see if there is any information entered somewhere it should not be like maybe the custom frames and remove it. You should then be fine.

I will check that out
I compared the settings to all other ones. In custome frames I left it blank the others come up with a " 0 " which I can't change it to.

Now I'm getting this when I go to create the category
I am checking to make sure I have given myself all permissions and see nothing out of sorts???

Verify your data path is correct and then check to ensure your data and uploads directories are 777 at every level beneath those directories.

I had "my guy" take a look at everything and he says its fine.

Now when I want to add the sub category again I get this before I even get to the edit part.

I'm going BONKERS

Check to ensure safe mode is not on the server if so have safe mode turned off. You data directory is not set to 777 permissions or safe mode is on there is no other thing we can say here unless of course your data and uploads directory paths are wrong. Have you checked your php info and gotten the proper server paths? Have you moved servers?
