(upload limit) How high can you go?

I have lots of webspace to waste so I have high limits for my video uploads. People just get a lot more creative if they are not restricted by space limits. Currently, I have a 30 mb for video uploads (wmv's) and am planning to increase this to 40 mb. Is this an issue? Will this cause problems on my server? I am really more concerned about security because I have read in a forum (not here) that increasing php upload limits can have security issues. Not sure how that's why I am asking.

Thanks.

I am not sure of how increasing a file upload limit can bring about security issues. You should be fine I keep mine around 10mb for uploads but thats just me. Nowadays the 2mb default of php is really unrealistic but thats the default.
