Error uploading large files

Hi

I have 3 photos I am trying to upload, they are nearly 4 mb each in size,the process goes fine ,but nothing gets uploaded ,then I resized the pics they worked ,what can it be ?

I think if I am having a drama with a files of this size , I will have the same problems later with Media uploads.

Any help appreciated ,oh I am not getting any server errors if thats any help .

Your sever's PHP is no doubt limited to a 2mb file upload size. You can verify this in the Admin area under PHPINFO max upload filesize.
