I am not sure what your asking. If you look in our categories template we use the tcat and alt1 variables correctly much like vbulletin so what are you trying to do?

You can tag an image in a category as the cat avatar by viewing an image within that category as admin and hitting the link image to MAKE INDEX THUMB.

As far as the style classes I still am not clear what your trying to do but yes thats the correct template and as you clearly see we use the tcat and alt1 style classes in vb. if your trying to alter or use different style classes replace those style class calls with something else. We do not use hard coded color span tags there so I am not sure what that is your posting.

Hi Chuck

I took a couple of screens 1 of my forum ,with the coloured titles ,and one of the gallery ,standard .

The gallery I would like to make like my forums and have the colour green,as in my forum screen shot.

I would have no I dea what code to put it ,VB gave a a god and all i do for the forums is ad the forum id per ct for each new forum to change.

If you could maybe post some cod and highlight what i need to add in red and were ,that would be great ,all this code stuff seems to be way over my head.

thanks

EDIT####
Dam forgot the screenshots
ill post them later I must go to work now sorry

We simply pick up a stylesheet from vb and use the style classes that vb uses. If there is someway in the vb category setup to override the style class I am not sure how they do that but I would assume whatever your trying to change you will probally need to hard code some hack to the template to do that. without you posting explicit links to both products so i can see what your trying to do I can not really respond here.
