Voting category

I've just set up a contest but am getting the error "this is not a voting category" when I try and vote on an image how do I fix this please? Category/usergroup permissions look correct but i must be missing something real obvious.

Make sure in Admin => Edit Categories you have the rating type set to votes. That error tells me it is not set to votes.

it is set to contest i can't see a voting option?

If the category in question is set to voting versus rating in edit categories when you view the category you will see the voting control panel for admin. The error your post tells me explicitly that category is not set to voting.

the edit category is set to contest, when i go to view the category i see the option to enable voting showgallery.php?cat=527&votecontrol=enable i click this then try and vote and i get the error, what other "voting control panel" is there and where do i find it?

Interesting you can email ftp info urls and admin login etc to support@photopost.com as we would need to see your site and files.

I believe I also have my settings set correctly.

When I log in as site Test (non-Admin) The "Voting has started you can only vote for one image in this category---- How do You vote??????
