Sorry we do not support Joomla. In our Before you Buy forum and under Product Details listed in the header of this site we list what products we do integrate with.

How have you done that?

Some time ago, i tried that but only found 2 solutions:
1) Syncing the Userdatabases (so you have two Userdatabase)
2) Switching the wohle Usermanagment to Joomla

Because i everthing build around vBulletin, it's no option for me to switch Usermanagment to Joomla.

Have you found a way, Joomla uses the vB-Userdatabase directly /without sync)?

I think you find that JFusion is just the ticket, does not currently have PP integration but from i gather someone with more skill than I should be able to integrated easily.

JFusion is framework for integrating VB and other apps into Joomla.

That said can't understand why PP would support Mambo and not Joomla when Joomla is bigger than Mambo!!

I am using:
vBulletin. Main User Management
Jommla: with BBPixel Bridge
PP Pro: with vBulletin integration.

Aslo:
Media Wiki: with vBWiki pro
Thyme Calendar: User integration from vBulletin (ongoing, Jommla Front integration with Joomla Studio)

All together works fine. The Base for the User management is vBulletin. The BBPixel Bridge works fine. For the other Components it might necessary to log in first in vBulletin and than following the Link to the other Component.
PP Pro and vBWiki pro are using the Header and Footer fo vBulltin by default.
In thyme Calendar you could copy Header, Header include and Footer (Changed slightly on my site)
For Joomla you have to do the templates on your own to match the other Components.
Next steps on my site: show Photos from PP Pro and Events of the Calendar on the Jommla FrontPage

The problem is that they all rely on VB to glue things together, i would like to use PP with Joomla without VB though or maybe with light weight native Joomla forum if a forum at all.

Some sites just don't warrant a forum which why Jfusion looks promising.

I am having the same issues right now. I don't want a bulletin board with my PP install. I am trying postnuke with PP at the moment. However, they are not behaving properly. Cookie setting issues I think....however I have been involved with CMS's since the mid 1990's. The development around Joomla is a robust one and indeed something to look at.
