... remove members from members gallery?

Strange question: I have changed the setting "Do you want Members Gallery to show all of a users photos?" from yes to no.

Now, the members gallery contains names of users who never uploaded images to their own gallery (only to other categories).

Is their an easy way to get rid of those names in the members gallery view? Otherwise I have the strange effect that if you click on the members name, there is no image to display :(

Happy new year B=0

if you set members gallery to show all a users photos they do just that show all photos a user has upload to any category or personal album.

yepp, that's clear so far. BUT: I have CHANGED the setting from "yes- show all" to "no" - i.e. only show images that users have uploaded to their gallery.

What I have now is -sounds strange, I know... - member galleries that don't contain any images. Think that is because they have been build during the old setting.

Check here (German - but shouldn't be a problem ;) )

Hope you get the point? :o

No nothing seems strange at all.

If you elect not to show all a users photos and you click their gallery with that setting at no and they have no photos uploaded to the members gallery you are shown what your suppose to be shown an empty since its truly empty and a link to show all a users photos.

and then

If your talking about why there are no last photo uploaded thumbs for members simply upgrade to the latest software and run in admin scan database the tool to upgrade the members last photo.

mmh, that's still not the way I expect it to work. Sorry. Why?

The forum rights are set in a way that only members can see all images, but non-members are only allowed to see a users gallery. (Actually you have just shown me that this is not the case - have to check permissions again..)

So, actually, what I want is: If a user has uploaded images to his gallery, that users name is shown in the members gallery. If he hasn't, his name cannot be found there. Just as simple as that. (though it doesn't seem to be simple -at least not for me.)

I am sorry it does not work like you want but I have clearly explained the default coding of the application. It works as I have explained.

Just found out;:

rights seem to be set ok - but the user you have chosen has uploaded the images in your second link to his member galery. So they actually should have shown up on link #1.

Can this issue be solved with the scan database feature of the latest version?

I do not beleive you fully understand what I am writing. As I have explained if you do not want the members gallery to show all a users photos then you when you click there link get this

http://www.fotocampus.info/photopost...500/ppuser/161

Now as I explained there are no images there and that is suppose to be correct because it is looking for images in category 500 ( members gallery ) and there are no images. You also see there the link to show all a users photos which brings you here

http://www.fotocampus.info/photopost...all/ppuser/161

Now note above in that link how cat is all which means the script will show all photos regardless of category. I hope that clarifies things.
