Lightbox Previous and Next Buttons

Lightbox Previous and Next Buttons

Is it possible to get the previous and next feature in lightbox to work in photopost pro so you can stay "zoomed" in to an image and browse through the large images without having to change to each new mid-size image page first.

Lightbox for Photopost Pro Thumbnails

Would it be possible to get lightbox to work for the thumbnails instead of mid-size images. So the thumbnails when clicked just open a large lightbox and skip the mid-size page entirely.

My next quest would then be if that is possible it would be great to also have the next and previous button feature in lightbox for thumbnails as well.

Also, some of my really large images that should open in lightbox don't but open in a new window instead. How can that be fixed?

Thanks,

We do not write the lightbox code or any of its features. It is not compatible with any next prev feature in our software. Lightbox is simply a popup system to show a large photo much like our popupwindow. It is meant to merely show the large image in any photopost setup depending on your settings you set in admin for the lightbox. Any image over the lightbox sizes opens the photopost popupwindow. If you want to use lightbox for all images set the thresholds high like 2000 and 2000.

Actually almost all the lightbox versions I have installed as well as "highslide" all have previous and next buttons that popup as you mouse over the zoomed photo. I have a variation of lightbox installed in my gallery2 that does this. I will have to look at the js files and see how they are doing it. This is a must next step for the lightbox that is now included in photopost.

It is a waste to zoom into a photo then have to zoom back out and click to the next photo then zoom back in. Also, the version of lightbox that comes with photopost is missing cool feature such as... you have to click the close button to close the zoomed image. another version of lightbox allows you to click anywhere on the image or button. another nice tweak.

Photopost is all about photos and media and needs to step up the development of these cool zoomed features to further pimp out the gallery.

I guess I will have to hunt down where to set the "threshold" size limits. Is that a setting in photopost or tuck away in a lightbox file?

We actually have nothing to do with lightbox or its code so you would need to investigate how other sites are doing it. We use the standard lightbox code downloaded from lightbox. It essentially as stated is a alternate java code to show a large image. Other than that I can not comment on there code or what modified versions may be out there. The settings to trigger lightbox are down the bottom of the show photo options in admin.
