PP 562 - custompal no line break

Hi

PP 5.62

When a user posts a comment with some longer words, the custom pal box "RECENT COMMENTS" on the index page does not do the proper line break although it is done correctly in the comment itself.

How can I fix this?

please post example urls here so we may respond once we see the issue.

see attached screenshots. I think the problem is, that in the pal for recent comments, the urls do not get cutted. So a long URL will basically break the layout of the index page.

is there a way to tell PP, that it is breaking URLs only within the recent comments pal into 2 lines? Or ignores URLs in this Pal in general?

Obviously the URL have to be fully functional in teh comment itself outside of the pal...

yeah you cant line break something unless there is a space and in since you have one long url there is nothing to break. Nothing much we can do about that.

You can edit index.php and possibly do a strip_tags like so
