Deleting pics
By viewing the attachment screen, has normal users been able to delete their own pics? If not, how do I do this?

Not sure what you mean by viewing attachment but users if you set them to have edit permissions in edit usergroups in admin as well as admin options in admin you allow them to move or delete images they will be able to delete their pics.
