export a random picture on my index page

I am looking to put a Random picture available to everyone who visits my Index.php and when they click on it, it will take them to the photo gallery.

I have searched here but i am unable to find anything and i really thing this topic has been covered before. Could someone point me in the right direction?

Your looking for a code modification or hack as they are called since your trying to write or come up with some code to use outside our existing application.

With that in mind couple posts down in the photopost mod forum is this and I think it fits perfectly. It will show a random photo and the user can click to view the photo.
