Question about More button... v6.01

Couple of questions and maybe a bug.

Question 1.

In version 6.01 is there not a linked Medium image (the one that uses UBBCode) or am I just blind and can't find that option? I see the linked thumbnail just fine, but that's it. Even when the more button is active, I still don't have Linked Medium Images. I've read about there being a UBBCode option in the "upload images options" but I can't find anything about it on that page.

Isn't it supposed to be there?

Question 2, possible bug.

I have the following options set on the Show Photo Options page:

Show UBBCode on Photo page? = Yes
Show direct links to photos? = Yes
Show html code to display photos? = No

I actually don't want to show the direct links to photo's (I want Linked Medium Images), but this will have to do since I can't find the option for UBBCode Linked medium images. However, I do NOT want the the Show HTML code showing period.

Now here is the possible bug, with the above settings, the "More" button simply doesn't show. However, if I turn on "show html code..." it does (so all three are yes). Now if I turn off show direct link, but leave show html code on, it does work, but not the other way around.

Shouldn't I be able to turn off show html and still get the more button that will allow direct link to show?

TIA

As long as you have ubbcode set to yes then you will see a linked thumbnail and you can click the MORE button to see any other codes like linked medium direct or html code. At least I show ubbcode is the trigger not show html

Right, but I do have UBBCode set to yes, but I don't see the More button?

Not unless I turn on HTML Code.

Even then I still don't see the Linked Medium -- I never see the linked medium (or whatever it's called).

If not, http://www.allthingsmoto.com/photopost

Do you want me to PM you the username and password? I'm not posting it here.

Sure you can email us admin login to see how you have it set.

Try setting in Admin Layout Options your stylesheet to default does the more button show?

Is this the option you are talking about?

Select a theme for your website = default
Choose from the available themes for your site layout

That setting is at default already, so, no it didn't make it show up.

I sent an email with the form hopefully you can get it.

Let me know if I should send it somewhere else.

Okay have you reuploaded the photopost files to your website? Specifically the images directory?

I just moved servers, so yes, but it was done via ftp from one server to the new server (ftp'd the backup tar.gz file).

Got your email and that worked. Thank you.

Also, I completely understand what you meant by me not having a medium image. So I've lowered the size before medium is created so all new images should get that link.

Thank you for your help with this. I think you went above and beyond. So thank you.

Yeah the ubbcode trigger shows the linked thumbnail and will show nothing more if there is no medium. The simple change I noted will show direct or html regardless if there is a medium or not.

What was this "simple change" for those of us also having this problem?

what problem do you have? If your not creating mediums on your site then your not going to have a linked thumbnail so posting a link and a test login to your site as well as a description of your issue might help us answer you.
