messages question

hi, my gallery says I have 3 messages. But when I click on it it just goes to a page that has my avatar with these links under it
profile
stats
photos
comments

but no messages. Do I need to turn 'on' something?

it does not list your last 15 messages or you dont see a box for the last 15 messages?

was this a new install or upgrade? If it was an upgrade you should make sure you have uploaded all the templates and files.

If you elect to use the messaging system there should be a box to the right of all those links with your messages.

It was a upgrade. I'll check the templates again because we do not see anything. Messaging is turned 'on'.

yeah then if messaging is on your either have an old php file or an old template so I suggest you reupload the download just delete the config files install and upgrade file and upload the distribution.

Thanks Chuck. That fixed the messages and the comments box!! Only problem now ....... is when users and I logout in the gallery we get error messages and cannot logout
