add users from admin panel?

Is it possible to add users from the admin panel as I can't see an option to do so?

No this is not an option at this time. That is usually something in a forum and since our products are not forums there has not been much need.

Even more reason to have it I'd have thought? We aren't linking to a forum but I need to be able to allow users to post photos without opening up registration to everyone preferring to "invite" people to join in. There isn't actually a way of doing this though, All I can do now is "allow registrations" and hope the user registers as I open it up then close it immediately, or add a new user in the registration screen myself, switch allow registrations off and then email them the details. Could it be considered for future releases or is this a custom coding mod?

You may place suggestions in the suggestions forums of the product. It is a possibility in the future always what I stated is usually thats a feature of a forum which is why you dont see it within our product.

Yes it is and users can register you just can not add users from the admin as that is not a feature currently.

We do not accept registrations, we create user accounts ourselves as well. For us it would be very useful; now we have to open registrations, add the user and close it again..

I am now adding users via a mysql client, scary and you need to check user names don't pre exist but its a lot easier than the switch on reg, register, switch off registration.
