no thumbnail no black no images

It feels like I have been with you guys since beginning of time. I always email chuck and the rest of you guys. I have been chatting with
portal.org
Vbulletin
photopost
advanced etc..

it si a constant jumping between websiets to get it all to work. Sometimes I have paid and sometimes I have learned..
Anyway now I am in a dilema I never been in before.

My website ahs always been able to show the random images on portal jig..

I just upgraded to the new photo gallery and the new portal and forum upgrades.
All of a sudden The gallery feature in random pictures does not work anymore on the portal.

I am not crazy and I do know more than the average joe todya on how to rewrite php etc etc/...

But now I have looked all over all posts I have looked over
forums etc mods etc..
I cna not get the mod to work anynmore.
I have redone it tons of times..
I have checked everything from inc_features to showphoto.php

I have even tried all the different codes there is for showing images.
I have tried t implement the gallery on forum just to see if that is easier does not work..

I am not using different data or sqls

I have checked the \ back slash I an checked the int and the config etc...

what woudl be the reason for it not to work.
I go to preview and there si only the header and nothing else.

I am going nuts and am about to give up again..

Can someone chcuk or anyone just tell me...
could it be a new variable?
do I need to reuplaod the int and config files?

what in the world is happening?

I would assume if you had random blocks installed on these other sites you would need to go back into those other sites and install those blocks in vba so they work. I dont see when I view your portal any photo blocks which tells me you have no active blocks installed.

For us to assist to tell you might be your issue trying to install your portal mods you would need to post or show the exact error here so I can respond. Thanks. Example your issue could be as simple as installation instructions. Example if your trying to use inc_features.php in your portal and your forum and photopost are in separate databases have you uncommented and filled out the proper lines in inc_features.php with the database info based on this thread?

CHUCK you installed and fixed my photopost after my upgrade. you then upgraded. but after the upgrade the random photos on index or jig on the portal stopped working. But the inc-feature.php is correct and I do have the data base in the same as the vb..
I have gone over it all a million times and can nto figure out what has changed since that last upgrade. It just stoped working?
I did uncomment and place the databases in there but that did nto makean difference at all..
It is just weired rigth now?
should I just order another upgarde again as 2 weeks ago and have it upgraded and have you do the correction at the saem time?
let me know because nothing is changing it right now..

well first off a photopost upgrade is not gonna do anything to a portal or forum as they dont know we are even installed. As I previously posted your only gonna not show a block on your portal if the following are not met

1. Your database info is not correctly filled out on the inc_features.php file.
2. You have not properly installed some plugin or hack to vbportal.

We do not have any supported modifications to vbportal or vbadvanced. So you need to post explicit link to whatever site your talking about and tell us what error you get when you enable any plugin your making up for the portal.

Then we might be able to assist you but without any errors posted its impossible for anyone here to tell you what is being done wrong here. So what site and what is the error?

well I found the porpblem.
When the upgraded inc_fetaure file was uplaoded the "pp_" table prfix was typed in there. Well my website does not use the tbale prefix so that was the main problem. The module now cam back and the center block is back working again to %50...
I now have the all famous black images up.
I have checked the data file and the code is set to
URL to your PhotoPost DATA

Content visible to verified customers only.

so the fowrda slash is there...
