| Image url showing + no watermark on large image
Hi,
Don't know if something was wrong with my last post about a couple of questions I have. There wasn't a response so I hope it's okay to try again
When I place my cursor over an image in 'photo page view' the direct url to the original image is visible. How do I hide the image url?
Also... I have on-the-fly watermarking set up and it's working fine in the normal photo page view, but the watermark does not show up when I click for an enlarged image. Is there any way I can get the enlarged image to include the watermark?
Thanks.

1. Please explain Your suppose to see urls of the script links. We dont show direct urls to images unless you elect to show those and those are shown in another place on the page
2. Check in Admin => Storage Options that your data url is correct. If everything else is views right but the large image then this points to your url being incorrect there.

Hi Chuck, This is what's happening:
When I click a thumbnail and the photo page opens up okay and the watermark is visible.
When I place the cursor anywhere on this image area the direct url to the original image appears in the bottom left corner of the browser.
When I click on the image to view a larger version of it, the larger image opens with no watermark.
When I click on the 'Print View' icon below the posting, the larger image opens up with the watermark visible.
I've checked in Admin => Storage Options and both the data url and path point to the default 'data' directory. Do I need to change these to a different directory?
Thanks.

You need to place explicit things here for support. I have never seen an image appear in left bottom of a browser. You sure you dont have browser plugin or something installed.

Chuck,
I didn't say an image appears in left bottom, I said the direct url to the original image appears in the bottom left corner of the browser.
Thanks.

Hello we have no control over the internet explorer browser or what they show in their browser. You can use htaccess to block direct url to images http://www.photopost.com/tipsphp.html |

In admin you can go to the htaccess part of admin and enter as shown on our site putting your domain in that code. The correct file will be made in your data directory.
Your still not going to get rid of that link to that image in the browser

Thanks for that Chuck,
I did what you said and also turned off "Use popup window for BIG images?"
Now the watermark shows on all images (medium and large) and the url is no longer visible.
All the best |
