Unapproved Image Linked Thumbnail

We've got bb code showing under the images in our gallery so that members can put the pics in their posts, but it looks like they can get the code even when the image has been moderated.

If a member uploads a new pic that needs moderating, they are shown the image after upload with 'image pending approval' but they also get the code to post the thumbnail in the forum.

Is there a way we can stop this from happening, so they only get the code once the image has been approved?

How about surrounding this with a portion of code in your showphoto.tmpl with a conditional.

Code:
Content visible to verified customers only.
surround that with this

Code:
Content visible to verified customers only.

Thanks Chuck,

I take it that the position and above code from showphoto.tmpl is different if we've got vBulletin integration as we're using vb3enhanced templates, but I think I've managed to add this in and it seems to be working.

Could you make this a feature in future releases with an option in the admin panel?

The code would be the same except the style classes would be different. If you surround the code I noted with that if clause it should definately work and also no one can see an unapproved photo anyway except admin so this is not really an issue.

I keep on giving it a go but it doesn't seem to be working propoerly at the moment. It stops the link being shown whether it's approved or not.

On your second point, I must be doing something wrong in the settings. All members are able to see the page of their uploaded images after they've been uploaded. The medium or large image doesn't show, but all the info is there with the linked thumbnail code, icon to report etc, but 'image pending approval' in place of the photo.

Where should I make the change in the gallery to stop them being able to view the photo's page until it's been approved.

Right a member can see the photo they uploaded no one else can so no one else can use those links.

but the member who uploaded the image can see the link, and so they've been copying them and putting them into the forum thinking other members can also see them

If tried the code several times, putting

if ( $approved == 1 )
{

in line 309, and

}

in line 371

of vb3enhanced/showphoto.tmpl, but it stops the link from being viewable when the image is approved as well as unapproved

Any ideas on how we could get this fixed as it's giving some more problems again with members posting thumbnails in the forum to images in the galllery that haven't been approved

Thanks
