Confusion backingup database

In the backup screen it states:

You can backup tables individually or all of them at one. You should set your gallery to CLOSED in your config-inc.php file while doing a backup.

Note: Backup uses the mysqldump command, so make sure that the path to this command is set properly below (this is set in the config file). large databases may timeout if you do them all at once and you may need to backup tables individually. MySQL 4.x requires that the database user that your gallery is using has LOCK TABLES permissions.
I do not see where you can close your gallery in the config-inc.php file. Nor do I see where you can set the path to the mysql dump.

I think that wording needs to be updated.

You can find all the settings in Admin => Global Options
