Private Album thumbnails displayed on Home

I cannot find where in admin to disable thumbnails of private albums from being publicly displayed on the Recent Photos / Home page - please tell me exactly how to do this as I've been struggling with it for months, thanks.

To clarify, I do not want thumbs of private gallery images displayed anywhere publicly.

Are thumbnails from private albums displayed in Recent Photos only to a logged-in Admin?

Yes admins and users who have permission to see the private photos will see them. Those who do not will not see them.

Not the first time we have seem someone report an issue only to realize oh I am admin I can do and see everything.

It seems rather counterintuitive that such would be the case, but no matter; I'm happy knowing that they are indeed private.

Admins can see anything and everthing so indeed your safe.
