| Thinking to buy 2nd photopost license but how do I make them use the same member DB?
I want to run a 2nd photopost pro on a domatin2 but I still want it to get the member data from photopost pro + VB from domain 1. The album and photos use different data tho. Only needs them to share the same user database so members won't have to regsiter again.
Is this possible? |

You can install different photopost installs to integrate with one vbulletin just install them in separate databases or if the same database make sure to use a different table prefix for the second install.

well your english is not too clear here but it is as I say. You can install 2 different photoposts to integrate with a vb just use different table prefix.
Now if photopost is on a different server that vb you are not able to integrate with it anything other than user login if the vb server allows external mysql connections.
All depends on your setup really. My points are simply the do not do's

well if you external forum server allows external mysql connections you ran integrate a photopost with those user logins but you can not use all the header footer style integrations as they require the forum to be on the same server as photopost.

Oh if it's just that then no worries we can design another style for it. As long as the user database is the same so members won't have to register again.
And the photos are stored in different server/location/ database perfix.

For example I am trying to search for 1600x1000+ resolution wallpapers only in the gallery. But I can't. I had to use google to search my own gallery for 1600x+ wallapapers. And that is not good. know what i mean now? I think this is very important search function taht photopost is missing.

If you need to purchase an install for photopost to be installed you can do so by hitting the purchase link in the header above and purchase the install.

what do you mean by link it?
You can create whatever categories you wish in Admin => Edit Categories. Categories can not be imported as you need to create it through admin so the corresponding data directories are created.
An install is simply going to properly install the gallery on your server in working order.
