I need a cutsom install not just install it.
1. It need to use the same user database as gallery 1.
2. move half of the albums from gallery 1 into gallery 2.

1. thats still a normal install not a custom install.
2. Not really something you can do unless you want to spend time creating categories with the same name and category id after its installed and transfer specific queries between databases and copy those files to the other gallery data directory. That would be up to you to do.

When you purchase an installation customer service will send you an install doc. Nothing will be done till this has been returned to them. If you have any questions about an order you may email sales@photopost.com.

Thanks i saw that thread before but didn't know it works for 3.6.8 too. I suggest you rename the thread so people know it will work with 3.6.8.
Also I get this when i try to upload more photos to the gallery.
You have exceeded your upload limit of 10 images per day. how do i disable this limit?

You would disable your upload limit per day by setting in Admin => Edit Usergroups removing the restriction you have set for that options. Set it back to 0 for unlimited and you will be good to go.
Let me know if there is anything else we may assist with.

another question. Is there any script that can run hash check on all the photos in the gallery and delete the duplicate ones? Is not yet how much will it cost to ask someone to write one? Is it possible? I know it will take up alot system resources. But I can probly close down the gallery once a month to run the hash check. Because I have got a pretty big gallery and it's almost impossible to check for duplicated pictures by hand.

check duplicates? there is already a tool in scan database to check filenames against the next or prev photo to ensure possibly users by mistake upload a file twice but thats not what you want. You want something that is without any problems going to compare the actual photo pixels and determine if they are identical based on their content not filename right? Well to be honest i do not know of any server software that has this ability. I do know its available as a desktop solution in the form of graphics programs.

What's the program called? Also think it's possible to make something like that to run on the server? specially for photopost. checking same file names is not that effective. Sometimes 2 diffrent pictures can have the same filename too. actully they do happen alot in anime gallery.

I dont know honestly. I am merely saying I know there are high end expensive true image compare programs out there for the desktop. I am not a graphics guy here |
