pp6 moderation

Hi dudes...

Of late i have had many problems with PP6 and moderating images over and above 10 or so... my host killed one script thinking it was vBulletins register.php, they said it crashed their server, i was using IM6 for images (also in vB's register settings) anyways moderating images while using IM6 seems to be the kiss of death to my site, i don't know why... it takes an age... using GD2 now but still the same, afterwards the page (PP admin) might not refresh and i get a server gone away message...also my guests on site hit a downturn so i assume they get bumped also... it happened again and i thought I'd say something just in case.

I was using IM6 in my pp6 and its working, but for moderation maybe it was being over used and also if vB was using it also for registrations then maybe there was a jam of some kind... but saying that going back to GD2 theres still that doubt...

My other gallery (non pp6) seems to run ok and there wasn't any problems for months on end... i may have to disable moderation in the mean time, i don't want my hosts to be angry with me

Well we dont have any control over IM or GD2 or how they operate on your server. So lots more info would be needed but a server gone away message is a mysql error saying mysql has shut down on your server. That again is something else that indicates an issue with your server's mysql. Please post any full error messages here.

ok, i'll post what the host sent me...

I've disabled moderating images for that usergroup and i've had less problems... anyways

This was the first time I've ever had this and it does coincide with my swap to IM6 in PP6, while moderating images it was slow and well... i don't know what else to try... anyways cheers

it is all pointing to the forums... but i cant help thinking about that switch i made... perhaps, oh i dunno
