Default image link type

(Version 6 question) Can I make make 'Linked Medium' the default instead of 'Linked Thumbnail' and do I have to have the 'more' button - I'd prefer to display all the options by default.

You must turn on ubbcode and only link thumbnail and medium will show. i can not discuss code modification questions here on support forums sorry.

Hi Chuck - I don't want to modify any code. UBBCode is enabled but the image linking option that shows by default is the linked thumbnail.

I'd prefer to show one of the options that must be revealed by clicking on 'more'. I was hoping that there was some way of configuring which of the linking options could be shown by default.

We encourage people to post their photos inline in the forum in full, not thumbnails.

You need to modify code if you want it to work someway else

If you enabled only bbcode you will see linked thumb and get a more icon where you click and you see linked medium.

This is how the code functions.

I'm very appreciative of the new version but this ability has always been a default option with the "medium" image link below the picture if selected in the Admin section.

Now the default is thumbnails which are pretty much useless even though you have a more icon next to the IMG location. Tell that to a large user base...

I am only supporting the function of the software that is ajax and you click more to see more showcodes. Medium is clearly listed there. If you want to do something different than the software is coded to do now that it has ajax then you must alter code. Maybe alter your showphoto template and change the order in how they are displayed.

I am not the Photopost Pro developer so I can not you the thinking behind why thumbnail is shown first however it has always been shown first even in prior versions so nothing really changed other than using ajax to hide the rest unless you click the image to unhide them. Alot of people have upgraded to Photopost 6 and this is the only complaint that medium is only shown when you use the ajax more link.
